When I first considered my need to have a web-site to promote my work and to put forward a few paintings into the public domain. So as to open a dialogue  about my work, art and its place in all of our lives.  I had in no way conceived of what would ultimately be involved.

With this in mind I looked at what was currently available . The template style off the shelf web-sites seemed to be popular with many artists, however I found them to be very limited in their  flexibility  because of their need to be very general in their scope. This left me with two possible options,  Go to a professional web designer. Expensive and it still might not meet all of my needs, or doing it myself which would satisfy all of my design criteria but at the cost of time.  First however I had to decide exactly what I wanted.

By creating my own web-site I found  it can change, adapt and grow with me. Web design is unlike any other form of traditional  media. This did require me to learn many new and varied skills, some by attending seminars, reading books, studying and understanding the Internet, a daunting task, but sadly many of us fall pray to the belief that to dream is a waste of time.

valletter, malta
I am currently looking at the possibility of exhibiting my work abroad. During  a recent visit to Malta I was very excited to be approached by an art curator at the Valletter museum of art.  This is a truly fascinating place full of the most beautiful works of art almost totally devoted to religious  content.

While talking with the curator it was explained to me that they regularly hold exhibitions in the museum courtyard, a wonderful open air space for a month at a time and she expressed a keen interest in my work.
