This is the second painting of three in which I have attempted to explore the feeling of fear that I had experienced. Painting is not just about exploring subjects that I am comfortable with, but also exploring my discomforts.  We all suffer from fear of one sort or another and I am no exception to this. For me fear is a driving-force behind much of what I do, I have always sought to face my fears with understanding, but inside I am mostly in turmoil,  constantly struggling with one fear or another.  Here in this painting, my rapidly beating heart and the tension of that moment are clearer but more was still required to convey the fullness of my feelings.
