My son came up with the title for this piece and it stuck. Its not until you stand in front of one of Mark Rothko’s massive canvases that the full effect can be truly appreciated, they are wonderfully calming and inspiring. This is why I made an attempt to paint this It proved to be much more difficult than I could have imagined but I am very pleased with the result and it is one of the few pieces that I have on my wall.
