Tynemouth castle

During the late afternoon of a warm autumn day I took the time to once again visit Tynemouth castle. A place where I had spent a wonderful weekend with friends some years before and my second  visit rekindled my memories. It gave me the chance to do some quick sketches which at the time I doubted that I would do anything with  but as you can see even I am driven to record just what I see once in a while. I am however quite pleased with the results and the effects that I employed in this piece.
