This painting is about balance and scale.  Our landscape is in a constant state of change as we move about and every new vista presents an aspect of harmony and balance between the basic shapes and relative sizes that each view presents.

I was struggling with exploring space within an abstract format.  This was one of the projects that I used to understand those concepts.  By placing abstract shapes in a natural environment this created a false sense of depth and perceptions
