LeedART was started a few years ago by Lee Doran with the aim of promoting local art and artist throughout Essex, by bringing London style gallery
events too Chelmsford and Maidstone in Kent along with exhibitions in local shopping centres, restaurants and shops. Later the Web site was
also developed, displaying the work of many artists throughout the country. I regularly displayed my work with LeedART as I felt that this is just what we need to bring art to the forefront so as to open creative debate and public awareness of art.
